Courses

We offer short accredited courses in perfect pattern cutting. The Level 1 is a 5-week course where you learn the fundamentals of pattern making. The Level 2 is a 10-week course which provides you with the skills and knowledge to produce a range of in-demand, technical pattern cutting skills.

We offer short accredited courses in stitching. The Level 1 is a 5-week course where you can learn the fundamentals of using a variety of industrial sewing machines. Level 2 is a 10-week course where you develop your skills further by using industrial specialist machines, review blocks and understand design principles.

We offer the Level 3 pre-apprenticeship in Bespoke Tailoring and the Level 5 Accelerator Bespoke Cutting and Tailoring apprenticeship. Both courses cover design, pattern making, cutting, fitting and the final stitching of the tailored items including jackets, trousers, skirts, lined shift dresses and waistcoats.

We offer short Level 1 courses within production covering 'fabrics', 'machine engineering' and 'quality control'. Aimed at beginners who can then progress onto higher qualifications or an apprenticeship.

We offer digital pattern making and grading courses using 2D and 3D software for beginners to advanced learners. We offer courses using Gerber Technology, Optitex pattern design software and Vetigraph.

The SEG Awards Level 1 Award in Workers’ Rights and Labour Exploitation has been developed to raise awareness of the basic employment rights provided by UK law. Learners will gain an understanding of the job application process and how to spot if an advertisement is genuine or not.

Retail is a constantly evolving and dynamic industry which now combines eTail and bricks-and-mortar retail together.

Functional Skills are applied qualifications which enable students to demonstrate real-life skills in English and mathematics.
